A church is not just a physical building; Christ is the body and head of the church. The Church is God itself and can be anywhere in God’s presence. What is Church? is a typology of individual Christians in prayer, each representing themselves as churches and the church community. Christians continue their belief, but belief is invisible. By showing how Christians practice their belief through prayer, this work would introduce my Korean Christian community. Introducing the community was influenced by Dawoud Bey. Although expanding the definition of church in a spiritual term is not something new, the goal is for viewers to take a look at my perception of the church and have a second to think about their perception. Everyone will have a different definition of what church is. This work is my answer to the question: What is Church?
